Former MEGADETH Bassist Participates In BANDBREAKTHROUGH A&R 2003 Conference
June 9, 2003Former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson was one of the artists participating in this year's BandBreakthrough A&R 2003 conference, which took place in Los Angeles on Sunday (June 8).
According to the official web site, Bandbreakthrough is a workshop providing artists and musicians with no-holds-barred information about the inner-workings of the recording industry, and honest, legitimate, and comprehensive feedback about each artist's music by the professionals making it happen in the music business.
Ellefson, who is currently employed in the Artist Relations Department at Peavey (one of the largest manufacturers of musical instruments and professional sound equipment in the world),has spent much of the last year producing demos for and offering career direction advice to up-and-coming artists, including Minneapolis, Minnesota's NUMM and Mesa, Arizona's BEFORE BRAILLE.
